(HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 11, 2010) - Priti Khanijou, M.D., of Glastonbury, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Khanijou received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She served as an intern and resident in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
A diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Khanijou most recently was associated with South Shore Hospital, South Weymouth, Mass. At Saint Francis, she will practice as a member of the Saint Francis Medical Group.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets. It is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
